John Fama, DMD
Dr. John Fama started practicing dentistry in 1990, joining his father John Fama Sr. for 2 years. After his passing, he took over the dental practice. Dr. Fama takes pride in the fact that he has many long lasting patients, who have been coming in for over 50 years. Dr. Fama was awarded a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) after completing 500 additional hours of continuing education and additional testing.
Barb
Registered Dental Hygienist
Barb joined our practice over 24 years ago. She is one of our registered dental hygienists and also has her certification as a dental assistant. She graduated from Monroe Community Colleges dental hygiene program in 1994, and worked part time in the clinic there following graduation. In December 1994 she started working with Dr. Fama. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, Barb worked as a Dental Assistant for 7 years. She enjoys caring for people and is happy here in our friendly, family oriented practice.
Kathi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathi, a registered Dental Hygienist, has been with our office for over 18 years. After graduation from Monroe Community College, she was also employed at the dental clinic at the college. Kathi truly values her interaction and time spent with the patients and feels privileged to be able to work with such a caring and professional practice. Kathi and her husband live in Irondequoit and have 3 children and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Lisa
Dental Assistant
Lisa has recently joined Dr. Fama’s Practice, but has been a dental assistant for over 25 years. She received an Applied Science Degree in Dental Assisting from Northwestern College in Michigan. Lisa enjoys the interaction with her patients and the warm friendly atmosphere that Dr. Fama and his dental team provide. When out of the office, Lisa likes spending time with her 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Bethany
Office Manager
Bethany recently joined Dr. Fama’s office and comes here with over 18 years of administrative experience. Bethany enjoys the family-orientated environment that Dr. Fama’s office offers. Bethany lives in Webster with her husband and 2 children.
